Hopefully only 3more days to go (though i'm still only using my left leg for powering up hills-as my right knee is still not upto scratch!).

Please listen to your body, can't afford not to send all the crutches out on the container a week on Saturday, besides need you to help. I've been following your photos all week it looks as though the first few days were some-what challenging but it must be great to have two wheels under you and open road ahead of you!

Shame about the punctures, bike tyre manufacturers are all the same they all claim to have made them puncture resistant but they rarely are. Funny how it's always the rear tyre that goes. It's also the time of year for hedge trimming so watch out for the debris.

Glad to see you're getting a good mix of carbs and protein in your diet, any caffeine in there to keep you awake? I always find an espresso (or two) helps before a big ride!

Keep those cranks turning the weather's looking good and you might even be in for a tail wind over the next few days! Always a cyclists friend. Rumour has it you're cycling back from LE at the end of it!

Devastating news about the latest spoke failure, however don't let this set back get in the way of completing this remarkable challenge.

So get the bike fixed at Moor cycles, peddle 97 miles to Lands End, jump in the sea, then get back to Truro to meet up with your taxi home, the lovely Gwyn.

All to be completed on Monday the 14th September, no problem!

Been in USA so only now catching up on your progress. Very well done. I cycled 600 miles this summer through France in 8 days (also raising money but for our work with deaf children in The Gambia) so am really impressed that you did more than 800 miles in less time (even if you are somewhat younger!).
